The St. Louis Day of .NET attracts many industry experts and speakers from across the country to share their knowledge and experience with people in the Midwest region. For a two-day event, the organizers did a great job of keeping the logistics of the event flow smoothly. Kudos to the team for doing such a great job not only having getting quality speakers who provided valuable content but also to create a great learning environment for all!
One cool thing that I got to see at the event is the demo of the new Windows Phone 7. Although I’ve always been a fan of Apple iPhone but the new Windows Phone 7 has a pretty appealing user interface and seems to be user friendlier than its older OS. You can’t really purchase it yet since the OS and the device itself are still in a rough draft development stage so it won’t be hitting the store anytime soon.
On the side note, R2integrated was a proud sponsor at the event and our R2iSTL team had a great time meeting with new people and companies locally who were genuinely interested in some of the work we’ve done. It was great meeting everybody!
From the DotNetNuke community perspective, we had a few DotNetNuke core team and members co-founders in town to kick off the Mobile Hackathon on Wednesday and presented a few DotNetNuke sessions. Joe Brinkman, Nik Kalyani, Chris Hammond, as well as a few others from within the region were all speakers at the local Day of .NET event.
For those who stopped by our booth, thanks for chatting with us and we look forward to help with any web development and online marketing needs.
Until next year we’ll see each other again and thanks to the #STLDODN crew for putting up a successful regional conference!
