Hai all,

We've configured reverse proxy to use our oracle applications in the use..
in this applications the web port is 8040 and the forms port is 9040 and like this
it has got more than 12 ports which will be redirected automatically..
internally it is working fine.

when using reverse proxy, it opens the initial web page at 8040 and working fine and
when it is redirected to open forms at 9040 .. oracle application is giving
the error :

connection to the server cannot be established. with the port no 9040.

we are sure that reverse proxy takes only port no 8040 and not redirecting
to 9040..

Any ideas ?

Hello,
We cannot guarantee the behavior of reverse proxy. It is possible the connections are getting mixed up with all the port configurations. Also then connections could be mixed up if they are being determined using javascript such as with links. All links in DNN are generated for the controls using javascript. You may not have any way to change the links at run time to use the other port. In this way it is probably better to write all your links manually instead of relying on DNN to do them.

Does this help?

Thanks,
