We arrived yesterday afternoon and began setting up our booth for the evening commencement of the 1st ever DNN conference (in the USA). Soon some people we recognize by name only began strolling by and introducing themselves. We were able to meet a few of the core guys - Scott Wilhite, Joe Brinkman and Nik Kalyani. And other DNN vendors including Chad from Data Springs, John from PowerDNN, Malik from PointClick, Lee from DNN Creative, Will from Active Modules and Peter from Bring2Mind.

The conference started last night with over 5000 registered attendees strolling around. Telerik as you would assume was a popular booth (although perhaps it was because they had a very, very cool shirt give away along with their products)!

DNN is also represented with 14 speaker sessions as well as a booth. The sessions begin today.

At the conference there are all facets of Microsoft based users including SQL Server, Exchange, Sharepoint and VS. I would say only about 30% of the attendees who stopped by our booth were aware of DNN. We hope this number goes up during the session!

PS - I am only down $25 so far after being up $40 overall. I was in the hole $75 and had a mini-comeback at the BlackJack table. The rest of the crew is down including Kevin who thought he knew all there was about winning at the Craps table only to walk away down $100!
