First of all - Thank you for your free module. It's a wonderful piece of work!

I have a single location - my office - with the coordinates 48,140732 and 16,243773. These coodinates were taken from Google-Earth. However when I use these coordinates in Google-Map my position indicator is off by about 20 miles.

What could the reason for this wrong position be?

Cordinate in the Google Earth is predefined, therefore different it will diferent with Google Map. If you would like to use Google accurate you have to purchase pro or enterprise version. Those version allow you to re-set the coordinate with you GPS installed.

But if you want to use google earth to find you position and compare to google map. it very simple.

After you positioning you position in Google earth, you click the last icon at menu bar "view in Google Map' and it will show URL: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=48.140732,16.243773&z=16&hl=en&t=h

(Same coordinate as indicated in Google Earth)

There is a last icon at toolbar next to "Email and "Print" you just move mouse over it will tell "View in Google Map" icon

but before that you should set the coordinate at google earth first to make sure that you have placed at right point. Once it done you click the icon mentioned above

Good Luck

Deo
