When I run goMap in directory mode, I get the following error message:
goMap_FetchStart: 'url' is undefined

Has anyone seen this before? Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks.

Bi4ce folks,
I just put your last patch on which brought me up to GoMap 2.09.02 (from 2.09.01). Now I'm receiving the same error message. It happens when on the initial page load when there's no entry in the location box.

Regards,
John

OK, so what does this mean? Do I need to load in some data to get this error to go away? I just downloaded and installed, but have not delved into any of the other details. But I got this fetch error also.

Thanks for any information you can provide.

Is everyone receiving this error message on the newest version (GoMap 2.09.02)? If so does anyone have the previous version? If anyone from Bi4ce is monitoring this, would you consider posting the old version?

Thanks,
Benjamin

The problemis in Bi4ce.GoMap.UI.js file. Go to 'goMap_FetchStart' function definition and look for this lines of code:

if (page || page == 0)
{
var CURRENTPAGE;
eval('CURRENTPAGE = CURRENTPAGE' + ID + ';');
url = url + "&p=" + CURRENTPAGE ;
}
url = eval('WURL' + ID) + "Bi4ce.GoMap.Output.aspx?" + goMap_FixQueryString(Qs);

Just move the last line before the 'if' statement.

I too am getting that error when using 02.09.02
I am trying to get the module to store the locations in a new table (the table is created and the points saved) but i get the error message goMap_FetchStart:'url' is undefined when i finish the wizard. (also it seems that the UI doesn't list the values from the database table after you add them but this might not be connected to the above error)

This should be fixed in the last very available on our site. The issue was introduced by a fix for handling form variables properly. We reworked the logic in the "if" block rather than move the url assignment above.

Does that mean development of the module is stopping or is it transferring to a core module soon. Any time frame if it is moving?

Sorry, I meant to type "latest version available". I was typing a little too quickly.

Hello,

I have a problem to display a directory beside my map.

I query a other table and everything work's fine in the simultaneous mode.

If I select directory mode I get the “url is undefined” error. I have already patched my version to the new release 2.9.3 but I get the same error. If test the “classical” installation as shown in your videos on the website with search box and directory then I get the object required error.

So what elese can I do?

thanks

Have you modified the profile field names for addresses? Can you post what your profile field names for addresses are.

Do you mean mean the columns of the table? Yes I have made an query which generates the right names on it. And in the simultaneous mode the Map shows perfectly. Only in the directory version is my problem. Hope you can help me.

Regards

Ralf
