As the module loads I get the error goMap_DisplayPoint:'image' is null or not an object

I got this error message after applying the fix listed in the forum for the error goMap_FetchStart:'url' is not defined

Anyone any ideas?

I guess something else is wrong and the fixed you applied just took you one step further as the goMap_DisplayPoint function is called after goMap_FetchStart function.

You must define the icons (at least 3 or 4 I believe) on the last step of your GoMap configuration. When you use GoMap in directory mode, a default icon is not selected for you. If you have any questions, take a look at the configuration from the sample that ships with GoMap. It contains a series of 4 icons. Directory mode is not as forgiving as some of the other display modes, in that sense.

As for FetchStart, this is resolved in the latest bug fix available on the site.

how do you turn off directory mode?

if i am correct, directory mode is a separate text module automatically populated with the gomap config. if you don't have one then you don't see it...
