I am designing a site for our local chamber of commerce. I would like for visitors to be able to map our members based on the member category (retail, restaurants, etc.). I have my query plotting the members when I leave the where clause off or hard code in it ("Select * from memberbMap where category = 'Retail'), but I absolutely can not make it work with the txtMySearch demostrated in the tutorial. I have fought with this all day. I have tried "Select * from memberbmap where category = [mytxtSearch,Form]" and "Select * from memberbmap where category = [mytxtSearch,QueryString]". I have tried adding single quotes to the txtMySearch text('Retail') and every other variation I could think of. Can someone help with step by step instructions and a sample sql where clause using a text/html module on the same page on how to make this work? Thanks!
