Hi,

Have a working gomap on a page. I also have a ListX on the same page. The ListX has a set of radio buttons, which I want to use to select datapoint content for the map.

I have tried :

onclick="lxFetch(Map1,0,'MapType=HiTemp');"

where Map1 is the moduleID of my gomap.

This doesn't even seem to force a refresh of the gomap however. If I put an alert in there onclick does get fired ;-).

The gomap query uses :

exec mysp '[MapType,Q]'

As I have seen a number of forum posts which state that gomap can take querystring parameters in this format ??

Problem seems to be that lxFetch won't work with a non-ListX module like gomap ???. So is there any other way of refreshing the gomap module without a full page refresh ??.

Many Thanks

Graham

That's right. lxFetch is a ListX specific function that makes an AJAX call back to ListX and tells it to refresh itself. There is no direct analog in GoMap.

GoMap can correctly pull values from a form but I think you're running into a timing issue.
The best thing I can recommend is for you to get your hands dirty and look at the way directory mode works. There is a search option in directory mode that tells GoMap to refresh its data.

I hope this helps get you started.

Thanks,
