Hi, I would like to be a GoMap user, but I run in a Wizard setup problem:

I try to use Gomap 2.9.3 on lst release of DNN 4.8.0
during the wizard setup, when i click 'next' on th 'General Setting' window, i get the following error:
Unable to open http://localhost:2070/gbc4_5/google/tabid/54/ctl/Wizard/mid/371/default.aspx.

If I do the same configuration with DNN 4.7.0 and DNN 4.6.2 GoMap works fine
Many thaks for you help an best regards
antonio

I get this exact same error - 4.8.0 of DNN and with latest Go.Map. This is the only thing stopping me from upgrading my site to 4.8, which I desparately want to have finished over the xmas/new year break. Can it please be fixed quickly?

Kind regards, JP

Hi Jeff,

We just testing our patch now. We hope to have this fix released today. If you need to work with Map in the meantime, you should not run into this problem when using the Firefox web browser.

Thanks,

Hi ikansas, I haven't applied any patch on my site (if that is what you are referring to?). The live production site is still at DNN 4.4.1. I've been testing the upgrade on a test site and am still waiting on a patch to GoMap so I can upgrade that to 4.8.

goMap 2.9.4 patch fix has been released as of 1/4/2008. You can get the upgrade from the Bi4ce support download page or via your SnowCovered account if you purchased.

Hi, Jeff & Chris ,
I have to explain better the situation: I try to use Gomap 2.9.3 on latest release of DNN 4.8.0 (at that time 2.9.3 was the latest release) w/o result. Today I found a new GoMap release (2.9.4) and, as I wrote before, this works fine with DNN 4.8.0. So, I realised that the new GoMap release was relate to ypu path.
Anyway, many thank again because this forum thread solved wy problem.
