I recently purchased this module and have successfully install it. I am however having problems with this module. When the module is added to a page, it seems that all of the images are broken. The layout on the screen also appears very jumbled as if there is no formatting inside the module. I have gone to the directory where the images for this module are stored on the webserver and they show up intact in an image viewer, but not on the site.

Any ideas?

I tried posting a screenshot in this post but was unable to.

Hmm. What version of DotNetNuke is the CSS/Editor installing into?

Any ideas?

Again I am running DNN version 3.1.0.

I have tried reinstalling this module a couple of times and still have the same problem.

It's as if the functionailty is working, but the GUI for the module is broken.

I am having this same problem on DNN3.1.1. The result is the same for host and Admin. It also seems that a lot of the scripts aren't working, like maybe it's not getting to the dll or something. I'm pretty sure it's some kind of configuration issue but I sure don't have a clue what it would be.

I've just purchased and installed CSS Editor 1.92 on a new install of DNN 4.3.5 (this is after asking if the editor is compatible with 4.3.x). I have what appears to be the same problem as originally posted by jasonw on 01.12.2006.

The page the editor is on shows an error on the status bar indicating "object expected" which I believe is a java script error. The module is completely useless right now. Your timely help would be appreciated.

The object expected error doesn't sound like a broken image error, but it may *possibly" be related. What is the installation scenario. I see 4.3.5, is this a localhost, domain or child portal install? I will dulpicate on this side and make the required corrections.

Hello Kevin,

Images don't show and the general module layout is all jumbled; nothing like your demo page, and the controls don't work.

This is DNN 4.3.5 on a dev server. It is the main portal after original DNN 4.3.5 fresh install (not a child) it has both a domain alias/URL and responds to localhost. Problem is the same in either case.

Thanks,

Hello Kevin,

I know it takes time to resolve issues, but just wondering if you are still trying to duplicate this, or if you need any other information from me.

Thank you,

We will have a correction for this coming up in the next week, there is a problem with the ALIAS handler within the CSS editor that appears to be messing up the image references.

You've now sent out a newletter indicating CSS Editor has passed the review program, when you still haven't released a fix to this problem, which you promised at least a few weeks ago.

When will you release a fix so this works under 4.3.6+
