Dear

I've bought you're module Navigator.
May I ask you a question...
When I choose in Display Settings for Child (the first level of tabs are my children).
How can I change the default setting that is set in an order how the pages were created?
I want the order of the child not in an order that I think the user want to choose when he visited the tab...

The original packaged procedure provided with the Navigator provided a procedure that sorted the menu entries by their TabId, which was a problem that has been addressed and a new procedure has been released in another thread which sorts the menu items by Tab Order. You can modify the order of these entries within the Admin / Pages administrative control. You can follow the text provided below to introduce the new procedure into your existing DNN 3.x Navigator install. --

A replacement for the Navigator stored procedure, specifically for usage within DNN 3.x is has been provided which handles the sort order and can be applied as follows.

  1. Open and copy the contents of the following text file - this file contains a corrected SQL script which will replace the existing procedure:

    http://dnn.bi4ce.com/DesktopModules/Navigator/SortedProcedure.txt
  2. Log in to your website as a super user (ie. Host account). Then go to the Host administration menu and select the SQL menu item.
  3. Paste the contents of the provided text file into the text area.
  4. Check the Run as Script checkbox, followed by pressing Execute.

You will receive no confirmation of success, but would receive an error message if the patch failed to complete successfully. If you receive no error message - check your existing Navigator Modules to verify that the sorting is now corrected.

Happy Nuking -
