Why is there always 1 pixel between each row (background) of the menu-items?...

There is currently a 1px gap between root menu items in the current instance because items which have children produce a table in the following row below the menu item - which is visible as a single line when the item is collapsed. Due to this, a line has been added to the seperation between all items so that it is always visible.

We are currently working on a way to change this problem - however, you could change this manually by setting the margin to a negative value therefore shifting the contents of the cell to overlap its predecessor.

Just curious if this issue has been resolved. I tried  setting margins to a negative value but there is no discernable difference. 

Please respond as soon as possible as I am on a tight dealine. Thanks,
