I have a list/edit group ala the Doctor's Management->doctors. Whenever I edit or add a value, the resultant text has a comma appended. The stored procedure check out so I guessing it's comming from the assignment in the list of @myValue=txtValue where txtValue is the edit form value. I've tried all escapes settings. The debug shows @myvalue=txtvalue and then @myvalue=ABCD, so that txtvalue has a comma - but none on screen. Checking the database, the comma is there.

I don't have a real answer. I had the same problem. I believe it was some misplaced escaping but I could not see it. I started over and recreated the module setup from scratch and it work fine that time.

weird

Here's the line. Note that [Value] is the actual db field name.

<td width=200 nowrap class=NormalTextBox><input type=textbox class=Tier3TextBox
id=txtEdition name=txtEdition
value="[$txtEdition:Form,{ISEMPTY:[Value]}]" style="WIDTH: 100%;"></td>

Do you see anything wrong?

Are you using name/id as txtEdition multiple times in the same page?
I think thats causing it.

Thanks, but that's the one and only field.

Hi,

As Shalik said, this usually happens when multiple fields on a page have the same name. I also encountered this issue couple of times and it was because two input fields had the same name. Could you send us your configuration and I will look into it?

Thanks,
Sindura
