negatives with MATH

When I use the following, the MATH returns correctly:

{MATH, (20 - 20) / 20}

Returns the result : 0.5

However, when the first part of the calculation returns a negative, as in:

{MATH, (10 - 20) / 10}

The following result is returned:

-10 / 10

Is is not possible to use the MATH tag with negative numbers?

CORRECTION:

The first calculation should have read:

{MATH, (20 - 10) / 20}
